A Soul on Fire- A lesson on Paul (Saul of Tarsus)

God's Will Part 1

The Essence of a Man

Psalm 15: Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear theLord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
What makes a man? Is a man one who has physical strength and might? Is a man one that never cries or shows concern about anything? Is a man one that doesn’t allow his feelings to show? Is a man one who has all the right answers and makes all the right choices? The answer to all of these questions is a firm no! What makes a man is his character- Who he serves, what he says, the way he treats others, his actions, the example he sets, and …

The Anointing

In Luke 4:18 Jesus said, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, for He has anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor". I have to tell you friends, I feel the anointing of the Holy Spirit working in, through, and on me! I am excited about what is to come from the Lord God. He has set a fire deep in my soul and I am hungry for Him and for revival. There is a wave of renewal coming our way and we need to be ready to move. I have been like David lately waiting patiently on the Lord with expectation. God is on move and the anointing that destroys the yoke of sin is going to set captives free! Please join me in fervent prayer and fasting as we prepare for God's work. God bless you!

Trusting the Lord Pays Off

Proverbs 3:5 tells us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. There are times in life when trusting what we can't see can be very difficult. The Lord never fails, He never gives up, and He never leaves us. I recently discovered thus truth for myself. I was in the midst of a family life crisis, seeing no hope in sight, and praying for deliverance. The Lord didn't deliver me from the situation, instead, He made me the light in the middle of the problem. Because of His mercy and grace, I was able to help my family overcome the battle! God may not always give us the answer that we are looking for to our problems, but He always gives us the right answer and He is always on time! Glory be to God!
